Rémi graduated in musicology from the Aix-en-Provence faculty of arts and holds the Guitar Teacher's State diploma.

He also attended master classes of the guitarists Eric Franceries.

Alberto Ponce, Javier Quevedo, Manuel Barruecco, Marco Socias, John Dearman, Laura Young and was profoundly marked by the teaching provided by the conductors Eric Sobcyk and Pierre-Alain Biget.

Before "Printemps de la Guitare", rémi won the first prize unanimously for the International contests " "Forêts d'Orléans" (2000) and "Carpentras" (2001), and was also the prizewinner of the International contest of Chain (in 2002 in Wroclaw, poland) dedicated to contemporary music performance where he was the only guitarist to participate.
